What we collect and why
Enquiry form. When you fill in the form on the Contact page we collect your name and email address, which are required, and your phone number, the type of hunting you selected and your message, which are optional. We use this solely to reply to you and prepare an offer. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry.
The enquiry is sent by email to info@crocuta-hunt.com. It is not stored in this website’s database and there is no archive of enquiries inside the website system.
Server technical data. Like any website, the server logs access data: IP address, time, the address requested and browser information. These logs serve the operation and security of the site, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
Spam protection. To prevent automated submissions the form contains a hidden field that people never see, and we temporarily record a one-way hashed value of your IP address in order to limit submissions to five per address per hour. The IP address itself is not stored, and the record is deleted after at most one hour.
Cookies
This site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar visitor tracking tools. WordPress sets cookies only for logged-in site administrators. A cookie consent tool is present on the site and lets you manage your preferences.
Third-party services
When the page loads, your browser also fetches content from the following external servers, which therefore see your IP address:
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com), to display the typography. Data is processed by Google Ireland Limited, with a possible transfer to the United States.
- WordPress.org (s.w.org), to display emoji characters.
The map on the Contact page is a static image served from our own server, so nothing is loaded externally. Only if you click it does OpenStreetMap open and see your visit.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes. Access is limited to processors necessary for running the site and the business:
- the hosting and email service provider,
- partners, hunting rights holders and trip operators, but only if and when this is necessary to arrange the hunt you requested, and only to the extent necessary.
If arranging a hunt involves a destination outside the European Economic Area, any transfer necessary to perform your contract is carried out in accordance with the rules on international transfers.
How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept in the mailbox for as long as there is a reasonable prospect of continued correspondence, and are deleted at your request. Data relating to concluded contracts is kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Server logs and the rate-limiting record are deleted automatically.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:
- request access to the data we hold about you,
- request correction of inaccurate data,
- request erasure of your data,
- request restriction of processing,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- request data portability.
Send your request to info@crocuta-hunt.com. We reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, azop@azop.hr.
Automated decision-making
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

This site is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
