Wild boar hunting

High populations, varied habitat and several hunting methods, suited both to the trophy-minded individual and to a group of friends looking for an intense driven hunt. We work exclusively in areas free of African swine fever.

Targeted individual hunts for mature trophy boar, typically heavy tuskers taken from high seats or by stalking, in established areas where wild boar movement and habits are well known to the guide. Hunts run from September to February, with the rut (November and December) offering the best chance of encountering large boar moving in daylight.

Trophy pricing is set by tusk length and overall trophy quality under CIC assessment. We give realistic trophy estimates before the hunt, based on direct knowledge of each hunting population.

Driven hunting (in the style of the German Drückjagd) is the most sociable and action-packed form of wild boar hunting in Croatia. It is organised for groups of 6 to 20 hunters, with teams of experienced beaters and dogs driving boar towards hunters positioned along prepared stands. Success rates per hunting day are high, and the atmosphere, particularly in autumn and winter, is a genuine experience of traditional collective hunting.

Driven hunting is classified as non-trophy hunting: prices are based on a flat daily rate or per head rather than CIC assessment. We organise it from autumn until early February.

This targets specific population management categories, sows, yearlings and piglets, in order to maintain balanced game density in the hunting grounds. It is the most affordable form of boar hunting we offer and is particularly popular with hunters who want to combine a stay in Croatia with a high harvest volume at accessible prices. The game is processed for meat.
